BLM&H corporate and securities attorney, W. Hunter Holliday, led the firm’s deal team and advised Qoppa Software on all aspects of the transaction. Apryse Software Corp. was advised by Choate, Hall & Stewart (Boston) and KPMG.
Founded in 2002, Qoppa Software develops and distributes software products for PDF processes that integrate into document workflows. Qoppa Software’s customers span the globe and include OEMs, U.S. and foreign governmental entities, and commercial users, including BMW, IBM, Verizon Wireless, Federal Express, GE Transportation, Intel and Samsung.
Backed by Thoma Bravo with over $120 billion in assets under management, Apryse Software Corp., based in Vancouver, British Columbia, is a global provider of high-performance document processing technology serving OEM and enterprise customers with software applications for dynamic document viewing, annotation, processing and conversion capabilities.
“Hunter Holliday and BLM&H were recommended to Qoppa Software by the Global Head of Corporate Development of a NYSE company with whom Hunter and his firm had recently worked on a buy-side transaction.
