This Privacy Statement describes the practices of Bird Loechl McCants & Holliday, LLC (“BLM&H” or “we” or “us”) with respect to personal information we collect through our websites (the “Sites”).

Collection of Personal Information

BLM&H collects personal information that you voluntarily provide when you visit our websites (“Sites”). For example, we collect information about you when you:

  • Sign up to receive advisories, articles, announcements or other communications;
  • Register for an event; or
  • Submit a comment or question or otherwise communicate with us through the Sites.

We and those third parties may collect information about you over time and across our and third-party sites. By using our Sites, you consent to such processing of data about you by us and by such third parties.

You can opt out of delivery of targeted advertising to you by multiple ad networks by visiting the linked website. We use standard metadata practices alongside a Yoast SEO plugin so you are able to share content from our Sites across social media networks. Information collected by or through such third-party applications or sites is subject to the privacy policies of the third parties that provide those applications or sites. How We Use Personal Information Collected Through the Sites

We may use personal information collected through our Sites to contact you, to provide you with information that you have requested, to provide additional information that we believe may be of interest to you, to perform an activity you have requested (such as to register you for an event), to enhance or improve the Sites, for security purposes, or otherwise to operate our business.

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards for the Sites designed to protect against loss, misuse or unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of the personal information we collect through our Sites. The use of the internet creates inherent information security risks, and we are not able to guarantee the security of our Sites. Please note that emails and other communications that you send to us, via our Sites or otherwise, are not encrypted.

We may transfer the personal information we collect through the Sites to countries with laws that may be deemed not to provide the same level of data protection as the laws in the country in which you reside. Please note that our primary data processing facilities are located in the United States of America. The inclusion of a link to a third party site does not imply our endorsement of the site or the products and services offered at such site. Parents, Guardians and Children

The Sites are intended for visitors who are at least 18 years of age and the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence. We do not knowingly solicit information from or market products to children. If you do not meet the age requirements set forth above, please do not enter your personal information on this or any other BLM&H Site.
