ATLANTA, March 1, 2021 – Bird Loechl McCants & Holliday (BLM&H) has recruited real estate attorney Jeff D. Upshaw as a partner to lead the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Jeff joins associate Harrison B. Sullivan in the Real Estate Practice Group to represent clients in complex matters involving the ownership, operation and disposition of real estate assets across the country.
At Alston & Bird, Jeff practiced as a member of the Real Estate & REITs Group. He represented companies ranging from large, institutional investors to regional developers in the capitalization, acquisition, leasing, financing, and disposition of real estate, with a focus in the industrial, multi-family, office, retail, and hospitality sectors.
“Jeff is an excellent addition to the firm, and we are thrilled that he has joined our team. Jeff’s experience working with sophisticated real estate clients at a large law firm adds an entirely new dynamic to the firm’s transactional practice. In addition to servicing the real estate needs of our current clients, Jeff brings a group of existing clients in need of services that enable the firm to showcase its broad transactional expertise across the Corporate and Securities and Employment practice areas,” said W. Hunter Holliday, co-leader of BLM&H’s Corporate and Securities Practice.
