Biography

Reed joined BLM&H in 2026 as an Associate in the Corporate and Securities, Nonprofit and Tax-Exempt Organizations, Commercial Real Estate, and Intellectual Property practice groups. Reed advises clients on corporate, nonprofit, and real estate matters, and counsels clients on their intellectual property assets, with a particular focus on trademark and brand-protection issues. Reed’s clients include closely held businesses, mission-driven nonprofits, and individuals.

Prior to joining BLM&H, Reed practiced at an AmLaw 100 law firm, where she focused her practice on trademark and brand protection. While there, Reed represented leading technology and apparel companies, including Fortune 500 brands, in trademark and trade dress disputes in the federal court system and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. The bulk of Reed’s docket consisted of TTAB enforcement and opposition matters and brand-protection actions targeting counterfeiting and other infringing uses on behalf of some of the most recognizable brands in the world. Reed draws on this experience when counseling clients on their intellectual property assets and integrates it into the broader corporate, nonprofit, and real estate counseling that comprises her practice today.

Before entering private practice, Reed served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Tilman E. Self, III, of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia and as a judicial intern to the Honorable Sarah H. Warren of the Supreme Court of Georgia. Earlier in her career, Reed worked on Capitol Hill for a U.S. Congressman, providing policy guidance on healthcare and social-values matters.

Reed earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia, where she was a member of the Honors Program and served on the University Judiciary. While at UGA, Reed also studied abroad through the London School of Economics. She continued on to the University of Georgia School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor cum laude. While in law school, Reed served as Managing Articles Editor of the Georgia Law Review, was a regional finalist in the 2022 ABA Moot Court Competition, and worked as a research assistant to several faculty members, including then-Dean Peter B. Rutledge.

When she is not at the office, Reed enjoys spending time with her husband and son, going on walks, and reading non-fiction.
